Spring Soccer Games Program
Below is information on the specific spring soccer games opportunities being offered by each age-group. For the programs requiring team registrations (see specific program details below) registrations please direct questions to your fall/winter team community coach. Players within the Development Stream can contact Nick Perugini directly.
Registration deadline for spring games teams ONLY is Mar. 9th, 2020. If all spaces in any age-group are filled before Mar. 9th then registration will close then. Registration into the spring academy programs is open right up until the sessions begin at the end of April.
2013/2014 (U6 & U7)
- Weekly games starting April 18 2020
There are no team practices for this age-group. Players are encouraged to join EMSP Spring Academy and will receive a $30 discount on registration - Games will be 4v4
- All efforts will be made to group players with teammates from their fall/winter team
- Games will be coached by parent coaches & supported by club staff
- Games will be on Saturday for boys and girls
COST:
- $130 + GST
- NOTE: all players registered on to a SUSC/EMSP spring games team will receive a discount off of the Spring Academy registration fee. See Spring Academy page for all details

2009 - 2012 Select/House Teams
- Weekly practices starting April 7th 2020
Practice details to be confirmed late March. - Games scheduled for weekends between April 18th/19th – June 13th/14th. No games May Long weekend
- Registration into Cascadia Spring Soccer League (2009 – 2012)
- Teams will consist of 11 players minimum
- Practices & games will be coached primarily by fall/winter team coaches
- Teams will get staff sessions with club technical coach
COST:
- $165 + GST
- NOTE: all players registered on to a SUSC/EMSP spring games team will receive a $45 discount off of the Spring Academy registration fee. See Spring Academy page for all details
TO REGISTER:

Players will sign up individually by CLICKING HERE . Players will be placed with fall teammates where possible
As a team
if a whole team would like to play together this spring please email elitesu.springgames@gmail.com further instructions on how to register the teams will be provided once email is received.
2005 - 2008 Select/House Teams
- Weekly practices & games starting April 7th 2020
Practice details to be confirmed late March. - Games scheduled for weekends between April 18th/19th – June 13th/14th. No games May Long weekend
- Registration into Cascadia Spring Soccer League
- Games will be 8v8 (for div 3 teams) or 11v11 (for div 1 teams only / div 2 will be case by case for placement into 11v11)
- Teams will consist of minimum 16 players for 11v11
- Practices & games will be coached primarily by fall/winter team coaches
- Teams will receive staff support from club technical coach
COST:
- $150 + GST
- NOTE: all players registered on to a SUSC/EMSP spring games team will receive a $45 discount off of the Spring Academy registration fee. See Spring Academy page for all details

2011/2012 Development (U8 & U9)
- Weekly practices & games starting April 7th 2020
Practice details to be confirmed late March but likely Tuesday / Thursday Training Days - Games scheduled for weekends between April 18th/19th – June 13th/14th. No games May Long weekend
- Team practices will not conflict with Spring Academy
- Games will be 7v7 for U8 & U9
- Teams will consist of 10 players minimum
- Registration into Cascadia Spring Soccer League (Highest Tier)
- Registration into UCC May Long Weekend tournament
- Games will be coached by fall/winter team coaches (when possible) and will have technical staff involvement and oversight.
COST:
- $200 + GST

TO REGISTER:
Declaring Interest – Development stream players will declare their interest to their current coach; who will then be emailing the EMSP registrar with those names and numbers. This will allow EMSP to begin forecasting how many teams we will be fielding and then instructions on how to register the teams will be provided once forecast is complete.
2020 Select Teams Travel Program
2009 & 2010-born boys and girls
In addition to the general spring program, EMSP will be offering the 2009 & 2010 boys and girls select 1 teams to the Starfire Spring Classic at Starfire Complex in Tukwila, WA on June 12th – 14th
Invitation into Games Teams
Player selection into the games team will be based primarily on performance at SU 2020/21 team evaluations in March 2020 and also in club academy sessions. All players selected to the games team(s) will be expected to be available for all games. There will be an additional cost for the Academy Games Team portion of the program (see info below) and this will get invoiced to participants once are details are confirmed.
NOTE:
- registration for games team will be completed soon after the select teams evaluations are completed in March 2020
- strong consideration will be made for players registered into spring training academy and/or spring league
- all players/families will be responsible for the over-night accommodation for the tournament at Starfire Complex in Tukwila
- EMSP has a group rate at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel near the Starfire Complex where members will receive an affordable group rate for the Seattle tournament. Booking info will be sent to all invited players
2020 SELECT TEAMS Invite ONLY Opportunities
2009 & 2010-born boys and girls
In addition to the general spring program, EMSP will be offering the 2009 & 2011 boys and girls select 1 team participants the ability to be invited into Academy Games vs some of the other top programs in the lower mainland and also the ability to take part in the June SX Cup over the June 20th-21st weekend.
INVITATION INTO Academy Games and June SX Cup:
Player selection into the games team will be based primarily on performance at SU 2020/21 team evaluations in March 2020 and also in club academy sessions. There will be an additional cost for the “by Invite ONLY” Academy games and for the June SX Cup Tournament and this will get invoiced to participants once are details are confirmed.
NOTE:
- strong consideration will be made for players registered into spring training academy and/or spring league
- all players/families will be responsible for the payment of each game or tournament upon accepting their invitation
